This month we are looking at animations in Vectorworks. You can make movies

directly inside your Vectorworks files using the tools and commands. Of course,

you have to be careful how you set up your lighting, models, views and

rendering. When you set up the file correctly, you can produce high quality

movies.

Drawing a Stone Capping on a Wall

One of my clients was asking about drawing a stone capping on a wall. There are

two ways to deal with this, drawing a 2D plan view, or correctly modeling the

stone capping in 3D. This applies to more than just a stone capping, it applies

to any wall that has a capping on it.
