SST_1210 - What's New in Vectorworks 2013

There are a lot of new things in Vectorworks 2013. Some of these are fixes or enhancements to the current Vectorworks, and some of them are brand new. The new features are going to make working in Vectorworks 2013 substantially faster by improving your workflow.

There has also been a lot of work done on importing and exporting, site modeling, spaces, and plants have been improved. There have been a lot of improvements to small parts of Vectorworks that you might not notice, but these will ease your workflow. Some of the improvements will be noticed by beginners as they learn Vectorworks. Some of the improvements will not be noticed straight away, but Vectorworks will just feel faster.

SST_1209 - Room Finish Schedule

Vectorworks can create a schedule of the finishes in each room for a project. In order to do this, Vectorworks uses spaces to record the information about each room, meaning that you have to place a space in each room in order to assign the room finishes to it.
