The other morning, I found myself standing outside the historic Wellington Railway Station. It is a magnificent piece of civic architecture—a robust, beautifully proportioned brick structure that has anchored the city’s gateway for generations. As the morning sun hit the facade, the interplay of light and shadow on the brickwork looked absolutely lovely.
