There is a lot of talk these days about Building Information Modeling (BIM). Part of BIM is being able to share your Vectorworks file to other consultants using different computer programs. The technique for sharing your model is to export your model as IFC. When you give your IFC model to a consultant it's a good idea to check the model using an IFC Viewer. There are a few free IFC viewers available. One of them is Solibri (http://www.solibri.com) .
